Good point about lorem ipsum in HTML as opposed to just, say, a PSD.

I’ve never seen any of the so called ‘injected humour’ in texts generated by lipsum.com…

Lorem ipsum is great while designing a website, but I generally don’t use lorem ipsum in my HTML (I’m a frontend developer…) because it’s easy to miss some stray lorem ipsum in a site that is about to go live.

As filler text I like to use X’s that are easy to spot. Too many times I found out after a week that there was still some missing content in a site that is already live.

I actually created a little script that converts lorem ipsum into Xxx’s…

I do now, lol :D I’m just kidding. What I was also trying to get at in the article is that if there are “offensive” words in there, I wouldn’t know. But, all the same, I think it’s still a good resource. Lorem Ipsum, as you know, is used quite frequently, be it real Latin or not. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum )

You do know that lorem ipsum isn’t actually valid latin… it doesn’t mean a thing. Most of the words aren’t even latin but just altered english words.
